About the Tapping Into Calm Group: The Tapping Into Calm Group is a supportive group that teaches simple tools to help manage stress and find moments of peace. In this group, we use Tapping (EFT), where you gently tap on certain pressure points on the body to release stress, and Havening, which uses soothing touch and calming thoughts to relax the mind. These easy techniques can help reset the nervous system, ease anxiety, and bring a sense of calm. The group is a safe space for clients in the shelter to learn and practice skills for coping and building resilience.
